Samsung Pay Goes Online in the UAE Via CCAvenue Payment Gateway

CCAvenue becomes the first payment gateway in the UAE to go live with the Samsung Pay option for
leading web merchants with Mashreq Bank as Acquirer
Samsung Gulf Electronics today announced that its Samsung Pay users in the UAE will soon be able to take
advantage of this simple, secure method of payment at checkouts online, not just in-store. The UAE is the
first country in the Middle East where this latest feature of the flagship mobile payments service will be
enabled on May 6th, following successful launches in the United States, Russia and Singapore. Samsung Pay
has entered the world of eCommerce through the CCAvenue payment gateway in tandem with Mashreq Bank, the
leading gulf-based financial institution.
The service will be compatible with all major operating systems and browsers (both desktop and mobile) as well as through mobile apps, making it easy to use Samsung Pay from virtually any desktop, tablet, or mobile browser, no matter where you are. Simple, secure and available virtually anywhere, the Samsung Pay service can now be used to pay for an even larger variety of goods and services than before, with previous benefits now also applicable for online shopping.

Using Samsung Pay on your desktop or mobile device is as easy as a few simple steps. On your desktop, when checking out through your favorite website, just select Samsung Pay from the payment options, enter your Samsung account number and click 'Request to Pay'. You will receive a notification on your Samsung Pay-enabled device, through which you can select your bank card of choice and authorize the transaction using your PIN or iris/fingerprint scanning.
